Technology provider Centroid Solutions announced on Thursday that it has partnered with BITA.
Based in Germany, BITA is a company that creates custom indices.
For companies in the CFD space, a key part of the process is that BITA sets up the indices in such a way that they can be traded, meaning brokers can hedge their exposure.
Several large firms already work with BITA, although many don’t say so publicly. Plus500 and XM offer a number of indices via partnership with the company.
“Partnering with BITA enables us to enhance our offering, bringing a diversified suite of index-based solutions to our clients,” said Centroid Solutions CEO Cristian Vlasceanu.
“BITA’s innovative approach to indexing aligns perfectly with our goal of providing comprehensive, reliable market connectivity and risk management solutions.”
In a statement, Centroid said the partnership with BITA will mean clients can trade a range of indices based on different asset classes, including equities, FX, commodities, cryptocurrencies and more.
