Brokerage executive Razan Jawabreh has joined UAE-based firm CMS Financial as its new Head of Business Development.
Jawabreh joins the firm after a 12 month stint at Daman Markets, where she was Sales Director.
Daman Markets is a relative newcomer to the derivatives space but is operated by long-time UAE brokerage group Daman Securities. The company recently hired StoneX executive Maria Shenouda as VP Sales.
Before working at Daman Markets, Jawabreh was at brokerage group CFI for over five years.
She initially worked in the broker’s Jordanian office as a sales rep, before moving to the company’s Dubai office in 2019.
Over the next five years, she was promoted on four occasions, working as Head of Customer Support and – ultimately – Deputy CEO.
CMS Financial revamped
Jawabreh will be reuniting with a former colleague at CMS Financial.
This week the broker confirmed that it had hired Nidal Hadi as its new Group Chief Executive Officer.
Hadi has worked in the brokerage industry for over a decade and has held senior roles at Swissquote and ADS Securities.
He also spent six years at CFI Dubai and was Deputy CEO and then CEO of the Lebanese firm’s entity in the United Arab Emirates. His time at the firm overlapped closely with when Jawabreh was working there.
CMS Financial is based in Dubai as well and has a local license from the Securities and Commodities Authority.
The company was founded by Majid Jalali and appears to do most of its business in the UAE and Asia.
