Alessandro Capuano joins Moneyfarm as Head of Special Projects

Investment platform Moneyfarm has hired Alessandro Capuano as its Head of Special Projects. He will be based in the company’s Milan office.
Capuano was most recently the Head of Europe for retail broker Capital.com, where he spent just over two years.
He has worked in the retail investments and trading industry for two decades. In the early 2000s, he worked at Finspreads, which was ultimately acquired and later shut down by City Index.
He then moved to London-listed IG Group, where he spent almost 13 years. That included stints as Head of Italy and Head of Europe. He also play a key role in setting up Spectrum Markets for the firm.
Capuano also worked briefly at Italian broker Fineco Bank, before returning to IG Group to work as Head of Product.
Moneyfarm is one of several firms to have set up in the last 10 to 15 years seeking to provide investment products for retail investors. That has usually included making simple to use products and charging lower fees. The company has offices in Italy and the UK.
