The Chief Operating Officer of brokerage firm IG Group is set to leave the company after more than two decades.
Jody Dunn joined the broker in 2002 as a Sales Trader and has worked in a number of senior trading roles.
That included stints as Head of Dealing, Head of Market Risk, and Head of Risk. Dunn has worked as IG’s Chief Operating Officer for the last two years.
IG has undergone some big personnel changes in the last couple of years. For example, the Managing Directors for Europe, the UK, and the US have all changed in that time.
Reflecting this, the broker’s CEO – Breon Corcoran – noted in the company’s latest financial results that the firm has hired over 300 people since last June.
Those changes seem to be part of a wider move to get the broker into growth mode and shift more towards a Revolut-style of operating.
