Brokerage group Hantec Markets announced on Friday that it has hired Allison Ubillus as its new Country Manager for the LATAM region.
“Allison’s appointment marks an exciting chapter in our LATAM growth strategy,” said Alberto Barba, Regional Director for LATAM at Hantec Markets. “Her deep understanding of the regional landscape, coupled with her results-driven leadership style, will be instrumental in accelerating our expansion and deepening client engagement in this high-potential market.”
Ubillus joins the company from rival brand INFINOX, where she had been working for almost five years.
During her time at INFINOX, she worked as a business development executive. She covered the LATAM region for the brokerage group and worked with both B2B and individual clients.
Aside from INFINOX, Ubillus has also held sales and business development roles at a number of other brokers.
That includes more than two years working at FXPrimus and shorter stints at Tradeview, IronFX, and now defunct brand City Credit Capital.
“I’m thrilled to join Hantec Markets at such a dynamic time,” said Ubillus. “The brand’s strong global reputation, client-first philosophy, and bold ambition in LATAM align perfectly with my own professional values. I look forward to building on the solid foundation already in place and taking our regional presence to the next level.”
LATAM has become an increasingly popular market for brokers over the last few years.
Every major brand is now building a presence in the region. For example, Exness has partnered with La Liga as LATAM sponsor and has added ‘Team Pro’ members from the region to market its services there.
Hantec Markets has also taken several steps to grow its presence in LATAM.
The broker recently announced sponsorship deals with Spanish football club Atletico Madrid to act as a regional sponsor for LATAM.
The broker is also sponsoring Brazilian football team Fortaleza.
