Prop trading firm Instant Funding has launched a new range of funded account products that remove several trading restrictions commonly used across the industry.
The new product line, branded “IF Clarity”, is being positioned as a simpler alternative to traditional prop firm offerings, with changes based on feedback from the company’s trader base.
According to Instant Funding CEO Lewis Mansbridge, the firm decided to redesign parts of its product lineup after hearing repeated complaints about overly complex rules and hidden restrictions.
“One thing became increasingly clear: You are tired of complexity,” Mansbridge said in a message to clients. “Too many rules. Too much ambiguity. Too many hidden restrictions.”
The first products in the new range will be IF Micro Clarity and One Phase Clarity.
Among the changes, Instant Funding said it has increased the best-day rule on its Micro accounts from 15% to 20%, reduced the minimum payout requirement from 5% to 3%, and removed maximum risk-per-position restrictions.
For its One Phase accounts, the firm said it has removed consistency requirements, eliminated position risk limits, and introduced on-demand payouts without consistency rules.
“We are launching in a direction that very few firms deliver on,” Mansbridge said. “Delivering clarity. Whether it’s rules, FAQs or our products.”
