Retail broker Scope Markets announced on Tuesday that it has made Mohanad Yakout its new Senior Market Analyst for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Yakout has worked in the online trading industry for several years and is a certified CFTe, CISI, and CMT Level 2 holder. The new Scope Markets executive is fluent in both Arabic and English, and has appeared regularly on Bloomberg Asharq, CNBC Arabia, and Al Arabiya.
“Mohanad brings a rare combination of analytical depth and real-world client impact,” said Joshua Mahony, Chief Market Analyst at Scope Markets. “His ability to deliver multilingual, actionable insights across multiple formats strengthens our commitment to top-tier client support and global accessibility.”
Aside from providing online research and commentary to media, Yakout will also represent Scope Markets at regional events and trader shows.
Scope Markets localising its MENA offering
Yakout’s appointment is the latest in a series of steps that Scope Markets has taken to enhance its offering for the MENA region.
That includes offering UAE index and equities products, adding pricing for gold and silver CFDs in local currencies, and providing regional-specific account funding options for traders. The company has also added Arabic language customer support and research and analysis.
“Scope’s focus on transparency, research, and empowering the trader community really aligns with my approach,” Yakout said. “I’m looking forward to helping our clients cut through the noise — in Arabic and English — and make better, faster decisions.”
With this appointment, Scope Markets is doubling down on one of the fastest-growing and most media-connected trader audiences in the world — and positioning itself as a go-to name for MENA-based investors looking for local insight with global perspective
