NAGA first broker to launch brokerage app within Telegram

Retail brokerage group NAGA announced on Thursday that it has launched a trading application within Telegram.

The application uses Telegram’s bot system and is active under the username naga_tradingbot. NAGA appears to be the first broker that has built a system like this.

Traders can open a chat with the bot, then use it to open up a ‘mini app’ that opens within the Telegram messaging application.

The application allows clients to sign up, KYC, make deposits, and trade all within the Telegram app.

“Telegram’s highly active user base can now enjoy frictionless access to global markets within their familiar messenger interface,” said NAGA Group CEO Octavian Patrascu. “For NAGA, this integration is more than just an innovative feature; it’s a gateway to a massive, previously untapped audience.”

Telegram has emerged as one of the biggest centres for the online trading industry. This is primarily because it allows channels, which traders can take signals, news, or other insights from. Consequently it has become a popular place for education providers and news sites.
