Global information and insights company TransUnion has appointed marketing executive Clayton Ruebensaal as its first Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, effective Monday, June 15, 2026.
The newly created role puts Ruebensaal in charge of Corporate Marketing, Product Marketing and Corporate Affairs and Communications. He will report to President and CEO Chris Cartwright and join the executive leadership team.
The move brings TransUnion’s communications with customers, consumers and its global workforce under a single leader.
“As we embark on our next chapter, how we bring the TransUnion story to market matters,” said Cartwright. “Clayton brings proven experience transforming global brands and driving results, and I’m confident he will strengthen how we communicate our value and elevate the impact of our products and technology.”
Ruebensaal joins from Comcast, where he oversaw marketing, brand, media and performance marketing for the company’s $81 billion consumer business. Before that, he held senior marketing and brand roles at American Express and The Ritz-Carlton.
The appointment follows TransUnion’s March investor day, where the company outlined its “next chapter of growth” strategy and a medium-term framework targeting high-single digit organic revenue growth per year. TransUnion operates in more than 30 countries with over 13,000 employees.
