XTB partners with Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Polish brokerage group XTB has launched a new campaign with footballer Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The company previously announced in a financial report that it would be forming a partnership with a new sports figure but didn’t specify who it was.

The company’s new ad with Ibrahimovic will premier on Sunday on Polish TV network TVP.

XTB’s new partnership also coincides with the launch of its new brand campaign – ‘where your money works’.

As noted when we spoke to the company’s CEO Omar Arnaout earlier this year, the broker wants to be a place where you can invest your money, regardless of what your risk tolerance is.

Like other big players in the space, the company has expanded its product offering substantially over the last couple of years. For example, the company’s UK entity now offers trading products alongside equities. The company is planning on adding tax wrapper accounts in the near term and has already done so in Poland.

This is not the first time that XTB has partnered with a major sports figure. The company formed a partnership with Spanish player Iker Casillas last year and has also had UFC fighter Conor McGregor as a brand ambassador. The company also announced a new partnership with the UAE Boxing Federation at the start of this month.
