New York-based clearing and trading infrastructure firm Clear Street on Wednesday appointed Puneet Pardasani as Global Head of Institutional Sales and Sales Trading.

Pardasani will oversee institutional sales, sales trading and broader distribution across Clear Street’s Markets teams, with John DiBacco, Head of Markets, as his reporting line. Product and execution groups spanning securities financing, derivatives, swaps, high-touch and low-touch execution, and crypto will answer to him either directly or on a dotted line.

Clear Street said the reorganisation is designed to tighten cross-market coordination as it scales its institutional platform and clearing franchise.

“His arrival brings institutional sales, sales trading and distribution onto one unified system and will help us deliver on our mission to give every sophisticated investor access to every asset in every market,” said John DiBacco.

Pardasani comes to Clear Street from Bank of America, where he served as Global Head of OneTouch, Cross-Asset Distribution, overseeing multi-product distribution sales and sales trading across fixed income and equities. Before that, he spent roughly a decade at Goldman Sachs in electronic trading and cross-asset sales roles.

The appointment follows recent senior hires across Clear Street’s Markets and clearing divisions, including Allan Amitay and Scott Block on the institutional sales side and Vito Laurenzano and Lou Caramanica under Head of Clearing Chris Tufano.
