Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEX) will launch its Issuer Access Platform (IAP) in the fourth quarter of 2026, introducing a new digital portal for listed companies and their advisers to submit regulatory filings and communicate with the exchange.

The web-based platform will become the primary channel for regulatory submissions and two-way communication between HKEX and listed issuers.

The rollout will take place in phases. Advisers will begin onboarding from July 2026, while listed companies will start transitioning from October 2026 through the second quarter of 2027. HKEX said issuers will receive at least 12 weeks’ notice before moving to the new platform.

Following the completion of the onboarding process, HKEX plans to launch a redesigned issuer portal on its website. The portal will centralize information such as executive details, corporate events, and other key dates, with updates reflected in near real time as issuers amend their records.

The Issuer Access Platform is part of HKEX’s broader digitalisation of its listing and regulatory services. The exchange has introduced several technology initiatives in recent years aimed at modernising market infrastructure and improving communication with listed companies, investors, and other market participants.
