Brokerage executive Christopher Demetriou has rejoined Capital.com as Head of Sales for MENA.

Demetriou has moved to Dubai to take up the role and will work from the broker’s growing office in the Emirate.

Demetriou joins the firm after a brief stint at new brand Onyx Markets.

Prior to that he worked on the premium client sales team at CMC Markets, where he spent just over a year.

As noted, Demetriou has also spent time at Capital.com before. He worked in the broker’s London office as Head of UK Sales and on the premium client team, before leaving the firm in 2023.

Capital.com recently released trading volume data showing that clients in the MENA region drove the most volume on its platform last year, relative to other regions.

As reported on TradeInformer at the end of last, the stats shared showed that MENA traders placed a trade every 1.6 seconds with Capital.com in 2024.

The broker recently hired ex-JP Morgan executive Siddharth Sahoo as Head of Operations for its MENA entity as well.
