Trading technology and marketing company Swiset helped Eightcap generate over 400 leads in one week last year, according to a new case study published by the firm.
The company said that it worked with the broker to set up a trading tournament targeting potential clients in 16 different countries in Latin America. That included Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico.
According to Swiset, the company integrated its technology with Eightcap’s to operate the tournament.
Over the course of one week, 429 different individuals signed up for the tournament, which took place on Eightcap’s brokerage platform.
Once the tournament was finished, the retention rate for traders that signed up was just under 70% – or 291 individuals.
Given the geographical spread of the clients, there was likely a big range in client value. However, last week NAGA published results showing the average lifetime value of its LATAM client base was $2,038 in 2024.
The region is becoming one of the most targeted among brokers. For example, Exness and Hantec Markets both have sports sponsorship agreements aimed at Latin America.
Several brokers, like Pepperstone, XM, Exness, and ATFX have set up large offices in countries like Mexico, Chile, and Uruguay.
