Trading technology firm GoCharting has hired Adam Dance as its Head of Product.
Dance joins the firm from crypto exchange Kraken, where he spent 12 months as a Director in the company’s product team.
The new GoCharting executive has worked in the retail trading sector for close to two decades.
Most of that time was spent with London-listed broker IG Group, where he held a number of senior roles.
That included stints as Head of Quality Assurance, Head of Product, and CEO of the brokerage group’s UAE entity.
More recently, Dance spent almost four years as Product Director at StoneX, which operates brands FOREX.com and City Index.
GoCharting offers users different charting and trading analytics tools.
The company announced investment from Long Ridge Equity Partners on Tuesday and also hired ex-TradingView CEO Oleg Mukhanov as President and Chief Operating Officer.
The company’s product is fairly similar to TradingView’s. One notable difference is that the company appears to allow offshore brokers to more easily display pricing to end users.
