Prop trading technology company Axcera announced on Wednesday that it has hired Lubomir Marasi as its new Commercial Director.
“Axcera is scaling with purpose,” said Herman Shaho, Co-Founder and CTO at Axcera. “We are not interested in growth for the sake of visibility, we are building long-term value by solving real infrastructure challenges for real trading firms. Lubomir’s addition reflects that mindset. He brings clarity, commercial depth, and a strong understanding of the fintech landscape.”
Marasi joins the Cyprus-based firm from PropGuru, another technology provider to the prop trading sector. He spent two years at the company and was Chief Business Development Officer.
Prior to working at PropGuru, Marasi spent more than four years at Purple Trading. Based in the Czech Republic, Purple Trading has a brokerage division, a prop trading brand called Fintokei, and also acts as a technology provider.
The company was one of the early technology providers to FTMO, which has gone on to become the largest player in the prop trading sector today.
Marasi worked at Purple Trading in business development roles, initially as a B2B Business Development Manager for the EU, and then as a Senior EU Business Developer.
“I have worked with a wide range of fintech solutions in the trading space,” said Marasi. “What stood out at Axcera is the quality of the technology and the integrity of the vision. Firms are tired of patchwork systems and partial tools. Axcera is different. An all-in-one platform that is robust, high-performance, and designed for scale. I am proud to be part of this journey.”
