The former CEO of trading technology provider TradingView has joined Dividenz as its new Chief Financial and Strategy Officer.
Oleg Mukhanov announced he was leaving TradingView last week, although he will still be an advisor to the firm.
Dividenz is an online platform that lets users invest in US real estate.
The platform primarily targets users in Latin America, with the company saying on its website that its goal is to protect the capital of investors in the region by investing in real assets in the US.
The company offers two products – a cash product, with a fixed return, and investments in real estate. The real estate projects are either residential units or industrial projects.
“Dividenz is an innovative fast-growing company focused on revolutionising global access to real estate markets—removing complexity, borders, and barriers,” said Mukhanov, in a social media post.
“It’s remarkable that in an age of frictionless trading in equities, bonds, and crypto, real estate investing remains unnecessarily complex and fragmented. At Dividenz, we’re changing this by making top-tier global real estate investments accessible to everyone, no matter their location or financial goals.”
Currently the minimum ticket size for the real estate investments is $20,000 for multifamily rental units and $30,000 for industrial projects.
Deals appear to be structured in something not that dissimilar to a private equity fund. A company is set up to manage the property investment and investors own equity in that business, which they then receive income from.
