Trading technology provider TradingView has hired Helena Jarabakova as part of its partnerships team in the US.
Jarabakova will be tasked with growing the company’s relationships with exchanges, brokers, and financial technology companies in the Americas.
She joins the company from exchange giant CME Group, where she spent the last 12 years in senior marketing roles, in both the US and London.
During the last year with the company, she was a Senior Director in the Global Channels Partnerships team, focused on retail traders.
That coincided with a period where CME Group sponsored a futures trading contest on TradingView called ‘The Leap’.
CME has made a big push over the last few years to get more retail investors trading their products. That includes launching spot futures and also reducing contract sizes to make their derivatives products more affordable for the average person.
TradingView has become something like the go-to charting platform for traders over the same period.
The company in some ways operates like a cross between a tech firm and a media company. Other firms pay to access the company’s technology but also market their products on the company’s platform and website.
