Prop trading firm FundingPips has launched a new brokerage brand called Tradin.

The company launched the Tradin brand earlier this year but was using it like a social media and marketing brand, mainly for YouTube live streams and X content.

That has built up a strong following for the brand across those channels.

The new entity operates via the Tradin.com URL and has a licence in Mauritius, as well as another entity in Mauritius.

Tradin offers customers access to MetaTrader 5.

FundingPips did previously get a ‘license’ from the Comoros for its main FundingPips brand, presumably so it could get access to the MetaTrader platform.

As we’ve written before, Comoros licenses do not appear to be authentic and are mainly designed to get access to MetaTrader products.

The decision to get a Mauritius license for Tradin is thus a positive sign and is probably an attempt by FundingPips to improve its brand and get better access to banking services.

FundingPips hired a former FCA executive in August of this year, a sign of the company’s desire to improve its corporate governance standards.
