London-based CFD brokerage Capital Index (UK) has rebranded as Vantos Markets (UK) Limited following a change in ownership, the firm announced on Monday.

The company, which has operated for over a decade under the Capital Index name, said the rebrand is part of plans to grow and expand its product range. Control of the firm has passed to Vinalytics Limited, a company incorporated in the British Virgin Islands.

Management stays, name changes

Vantos Markets confirmed it will retain its existing directors and management team, including Managing Director Robert Woolfe. Woolfe originally founded the business in 2014 and rejoined the board in 2021 after stints at GKFX and Emporium Capital.

“The launch of Vantos Markets represents our renewed commitment to innovation, scale, and continuous improvement,” Woolfe said. “While our name has changed, our core values and dedication to our clients remain the same.”

The firm remains authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, holding firm reference number 709693. Existing clients will retain their account details and login credentials, and continue to be covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.

Vantos Markets said it plans to roll out platform enhancements and new trading tools in the coming months, targeting both retail and professional traders with a wider range of instruments and changes to its execution setup. The firm said the backing of its new owners will support investment in its infrastructure and potential expansion into new geographic markets.
