BNB Chain prediction market Predict.fun on Wednesday announced the acquisition of Probable, the onchain forecasting platform incubated by PancakeSwap and YZi Labs.

The deal folds Probable’s team and user base into Predict.fun’s existing infrastructure, with the stated goal of improving capital efficiency and strengthening the protocol’s footprint in Asian markets.

Since launching in December 2025, Predict.fun has processed $1.5 billion in cumulative trading volume across more than 120,000 users and recorded over 3.3 million transactions, according to the company.

Migration terms

Probable users are being offered two retention incentives as part of the transition. All USDT trading fees paid on Probable through March 3, 2026, will be returned at 2x value. Probable Points will convert 1:2 to Predict Points, meaning one Probable Point becomes two Predict Points.

No immediate changes to open positions or account balances are expected during the initial phase, the company said. Migration instructions were due to be published later on Wednesday.

Predict.fun’s core pitch is solving what it calls the “Idle Capital Problem” in prediction markets. Traditional platforms lock user funds in escrow for the duration of an event. Predict.fun routes that collateral into lending markets, such as Venus Protocol, to generate yield while positions remain open.

Bringing the Probable team in-house is intended to accelerate that architecture into what the company described as a “multi-source, dynamically routed yield engine.”

“Prediction markets live or die by their liquidity architecture and market design,” said Dingaling, Founder of Predict.fun. “This acquisition accelerates our progress toward building the most capital-efficient forecasting infrastructure in the world.”

What Probable brings

Probable was built as a zero-fee prediction platform on BNB Chain, using UMA’s Optimistic Oracle for event resolution. It cultivated a user base across key Asian markets, a distribution advantage Predict.fun is now absorbing.

Probable said in a statement: “Our vision has always been to push forward market design innovation. Joining forces with Predict.fun gives us the distribution, liquidity, and execution layer to scale that vision meaningfully.”

Predict.fun was founded by Dingaling, former Head of Research at Binance and creator of PancakeSwap. YZi Labs provided strategic backing to both Predict.fun and Probable prior to the acquisition.
