Casper Andreas Solbakken announced on Monday that he has left Danish brokerage group Saxo Bank after working at the firm for two decades.
Solbakken has spent the last two years as Global Head of Commercial Offering & Experience.
He initially joined the broker as a graduate in 2006, when still a student. He spent over a decade at the company as a quantitative trader, before moving into product roles in 2019.
Initially Head of Equities, he was promoted to become Global Head of Products and Services and then Global Head of Products – Pricing and Platforms.
Solbakken was made Global Head of Commercial Offering & Experience in May 2024.
Saxo Bank announced that it would be acquired by Swiss asset manager J. Safra Sarasin last year. The group closed the deal at the start of this month.
