Rise brokerage app

Brokerage group INGOT Brokers has launched a new brand called Rise, which operates under its license in the Seychelles.

The broker is run via a new URL and website – TradeRise.com – and appears to an attempt to tap into something like the ‘fintech’ niche.

Traders can access the standard range of CFD products, which are marketed under commission-free branding that has proven popular over the last few years.

More interestingly, the company is heavily pushing its own platform, across desktop and mobile, rather than third-party ones.

In contrast, the main INGOT Brokers brand only gives users access to the standard MetaTrader platforms.

The move into a new brand like this could be for marketing reasons.

Having your own app can help firms with more streamlined marketing, compared to using a third-party platform. It also lets you market in ways that are much harder to achieve if using MetaTrader, for example.

On top of that, if you hit some markets with a specific brand, it can mean your primary offering – in this case INGOT Brokers – doesn’t suffer if something happens to the side brand.
