Alpha Capital Group has appointed industry veteran David Rapp as Chief Executive Officer of ACG Markets, the company’s newly launched brokerage arm in the UK.
Rapp has not yet publicly announced the move, but the company has shared content illustrating that this is the case.
The executive brings more than a decade of senior leadership experience in the retail trading industry, with a particular focus on launching and managing FCA-regulated brokers.
Most recently, Rapp operated his own consultancy, advising FX, CFD, payments firms, and family offices on regulatory applications, commercial strategy, compliance, and operational matters.
Before that, he served as CEO of the UK entities of IC Markets, BDSwiss, Eightcap, and Formax Prime Capital. Across those roles, he was involved in FCA authorisations, regulatory approvals, business expansion, and the establishment of local operating structures.
Earlier in his career, Rapp spent more than five years at Saxo Bank, where he held several sales and relationship management positions, including Head of HNW & Corporate Sales.
The appointment comes as Alpha Capital Group continues to expand beyond its prop trading business. The company launched ACG Markets, which is regulated in the Seychelles, earlier this year as part of a broader push into brokerage services.
Rapp’s background in building and running FCA-regulated brokerages makes him one of the more experienced executives to move into the growing number of firms operating across both the prop trading and brokerage sectors.
