Brokerage executive Iain Rogers has joined cryptocurrency trading firm OKX as the company’s new Head of Compliance for the EMEA region.
Rogers was previously at Veax Labs, another crypto firm, where he was Head of Digital Assets.
The new OKX executive has also held a number of senior roles in the CFD trading industry over the last 15 years.
Before moving to Veax Labs in 2023, he spent two years as the CEO of Turkish-owned brokerage Finveo, which has licenses in Montenegro and Mauritius.
Rogers was also previously the CEO of Pepperstone UK, as well as the FCA-regulated arm of brokerage group Admirals.
Before moving to Admirals in 2013, Rogers had run his own stockbroking and CFD trading company called LITE.
OKX does not currently have approval from the Financial Conduct Authority in the UK. However, it does accept clients from the country, albeit with a more limited product set compared to other regions.
