Broker AIMS officially launched AIMS Indonesia on Monday with a new office in central Jakarta and confirmed it had secured a BAPPEBTI licence to operate in the country’s regulated financial market, according to a company release.
BAPPEBTI is Indonesia’s Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency and supervises futures, forex, and commodity trading activity in the country. The approval is separate from the OJK framework, which took over supervision of digital financial assets and crypto in January 2025.
The company said the licence gives AIMS Indonesia authorisation to serve local traders with compliance, fund security, and institutional-grade trading infrastructure.
“Fund safety remains at the core of everything we do. Receiving our BAPPEBTI licence validates our approach and affirms that AIMS Indonesia is here to serve the market with integrity, transparency, and the highest standards of compliance,” said Windy Alexandra, CEO of AIMS Indonesia.
The launch event drew more than 300 guests, the company said. Indonesia’s population exceeds 270 million, and the release framed the market as a key growth opportunity for the group.
AIMS was established in 2015 and says it operates across more than 21 countries. The company has signed sponsorship deals with Borussia Dortmund, the ASEAN Football Federation, Tottenham Hotspur, and Lamborghini since 2022.
