Brokerage firm Capital.com has hired Haim Gershlaifer as its Head of Partnerships.
Gershlaifer joins the brokerage group from rival brand Plus500, where he spent just over seven years.
Initially working as an affiliate manager, he was promoted to Affiliates Team Leader in 2021 and held that position until he moved to Capital.com in March.
Capital.com and Plus500 have a lot of common features.
Both firms rely on use of a ‘simple to use’ mobile application, with paid ads that are heavily geared towards onboarding users as seamlessly as possible onto that application.
Having said that, Plus500 has historically been extremely strong with partnership and affiliate activity as well.
The company has also historically eschewed having sales agents and account managers, something that Capital.com has not done.
