Broker TabTrade reported that third-party data from Datalyst shows its Edge account recorded some of the lowest average spreads in the industry on major forex pairs during May.

According to the company, the Edge account averaged spreads of 0.04 pips across the major pairs when measured over the full month, excluding the daily rollover period when spreads typically widen because of thinner liquidity conditions.

TabTrade said the figures place its offering level with the tightest average spreads recorded by brokers tracked on the Datalyst platform.

The broker also said several major currency pairs, including GBP/USD, USD/JPY, AUD/USD, NZD/USD, and USD/CHF, averaged 0.00 pips during peak European trading hours.

Datalyst collects spread data from more than 10,000 live trading accounts across the industry.

TabTrade’s Edge account operates on a raw spread model with commissions of $3.50 per side and no additional spread markup, according to the company.

The broker explained that orders are routed through Equinix LD5 infrastructure in London, with average execution speeds below 30 milliseconds.

“We would rather be judged on the average, and judged by someone other than us,” said TabTrade founder and CEO Benjamin Boulter.

TabTrade is incorporated in Saint Lucia and offers trading in forex, indices, commodities, shares, and cryptocurrencies through MetaTrader 5 and cTrader platforms.
