Adam Saward has joined brokerage group EC Markets as Managing Director of the group’s UK entity.
“I am delighted Adam has agreed to lead our UK office in an exciting moment for our Group,” said EC Markets Group CEO Matthew Smith.
“The UK brokerage sector is strongly influenced by external factors and firms need to adapt and embrace the broader range of products and advanced technologies required to service clients here. Adam has a strong background in innovation and initiating change and we are looking forward to him taking our UK offering to the next level.
Saward has been in the brokerage industry for two decades. He has held roles at several firms, including Morgan Stanley subsidiary E*TRADE and Penson Financial Services, a company that provides trading infrastructure services to other financial institutions.
More recently, Saward spent almost five years as the UK Managing Director for Tradeview. He also spent just over a year at INFINOX and has worked extensively as consultant for prime brokerage-style services.
