Brokerage group XM held a gala in the Peruvian capital Lima over the weekend.
Called ‘The Rays of the Sun’, the event was the first gala that XM has held in the South American country.
The event brought together the broker’s partners and potential clients in Peru.
Like other events the broker puts on, the event had giveaways and rewards for attendees.
In person events are a core part of XM’s business model and the broker regularly holds seminars across many of its key markets.
The galas the broker holds are larger scale and more like a big party, with the goal of rewarding existing clients and partners.
The broker has held galas in Latin America, Central Asia, and Southeast Asia.
For example, over the last few months, galas have been held in Thailand, Mexico, and Malaysia. The Thai event had give aways worth more than $150,000.
The decision to hold an event in Peru reflects an increasing focus on Latin American markets among brokers, with XM being one of the largest players in the region.
