Doo Prime launches prop arm DPFunded

Hong Kong-based brokerage group Doo Prime has become the latest company to add a prop trading arm to its offering.

Called DPFunded, the new entity is being operated by the broker’s entity in Vanuatu.

The prop offers challenges ranging in price from $2,000 to $200,000 and traders can use the company’s MetaTrader 4 or 5 platforms to access the accounts.

Interestingly, the company evaluates traders on a demo server but, if they pass the challenge, are moved over to a live account for the funded stage.

The new offering appears to be at an early stage and targeting Asia and MENA.

More brokers adding prop

Lots of brokers have now added a prop offering to their set of products, in response to rising demand from traders.

Blueberry, IC Markets, ThinkMarkets and Taurex, for example, all now have prop offerings.

At the same time, many props, like FTMO and FundedNext, are trying to move into the brokerage space.
