Prop trading firms Instant Funding and FundedNext have both launched AI tools for traders.
InstantFunding has taken a funnier approach to the technology by launching its own ‘fanbot’ on ChatGPT.
Traders can ask the bot questions about Instant Funding and prop trading.
The company is also using the bot as part of its marketing materials.
Instant Funding CEO Lewis Mansbridge has launched a campaign to give out a free $100k account. Traders simply have to share their funniest interaction with the Instant Funding bot to win the account.

FundedNext launches AI chat
Rival prop firm FundedNext has also added AI to its product with a new chat feature.
The prop has built a voice chat bot into its trader dashboard, which it calls Fundee. Traders can talk to Fundee in 32 different languages and get different answers about trading rules, prop trading, and any other relevant information.
“Fundee is not just a chatbot,” FundedNext said in a statement. “It’s a smart conversation partner, trained specifically on FundedNext’s systems, language, and processes optimized to understand traders, not just keywords.”
Lost in confusion? Not anymore!

Introducing Fundee, FundedNext's new AI Assistant. Get instant answers, skip the delay, and make your journey smoother than ever.

The prop firm also said that it plans on adding more idiosyncratic features to the product in the near future. For example, traders will be able to ask Fundee about information that is specific to their own trading activity and account.
The new product appears to be a wrapper of ChatGPT’s voice function, which was updated recently. The voice function is now extremely ‘life like’ and responds in close to real time.
