Brokerage group Doo Prime announced on Monday that it has rebranded, changing its name to D Prime.

The company has yet to shift its URL but the companies’ legal entities have been renamed to reflect the D Prime change.

On the broker’s website, the company has also changed its logo to a single red D.

“This rebranding is not just about a new look. It’s about embracing who we’ve become and where we’re going,” said Marilena Iakovou, Chief Marketing Officer at Doo Prime. “We’re proud of our legacy, but we’re even more excited about the future we’re building.”

Although it does not do a huge amount of business in Europe, D Prime – and the wider Doo Group – is a huge company.

Currently the firm employs more than 1,000 people and has at least 8 offices globally.

Over the last 12 months the company has acquired a license in Indonesia and also massively expanded its operational hub in Cyprus.

The broker has two licences for its D Prime offering, one in Vanuatu and another in Maruitius. The group is headed up by Hong Kong-based businessman Windson Chan.
