amana launches Valentines campaign to give traders 1-carat diamond

Retail brokerage group amana has launched a new marketing campaign around Valentine’s Day.
The campaign means that traders who sign up to the broker and make a set number of trades will be given a 1-carat diamond.
The diamond will be supplied by ZS Jewelry – a jewelry business that is based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
According to amana, traders that meet the terms of the promotion will get a 1-carat lab-grown diamond certified by the International Gemological Institute, supplied by ZS Jewelry.
In order to get the diamond, a client must sign up to amana and make a minimum deposit of $1,000. They must then complete 10 trades in OTC products, with a minimum ticket size of $50 per trade.
Traders who want the diamond before Valentine’s Day must close out their positions by February 7th.
Unlike the UK and Europe, where regulatory restrictions have made fun marketing like this close to impossible, there are still lots of promotional opportunities for brands in the UAE.
For example, Capital.com formed a partnership with Amazon towards the end of last year, which saw the retail broker’s branding appear on the latter company’s delivery packages. That campaign was to promote a raffle, which meant participants could win up to AED 1m (approx. $272,000).
