Balraj Singh has been appointed Head of Sales at retail broker Spread Co.

Singh was most recently at Capital.com, where he worked on the broker’s retention team. Several executives in Capital’s sales team have left since the broker was placed under a temporary order to stop onboarding UK clients.

Prior to Capital.com, Singh spent almost three years at Capital Index, where he was also Head of Sales. Before this he was at Spread Co for almost six years, working in the broker’s sales team.

Spread Co is one of the only brokers to have its office located outside of the city. Like Spreadex, the firm is based northwest of the city.

The firm is also one of only a small number of players that has managed to sustain a profitable UK business, with no other overseas entities.
