The office of an offshore broker in Limassol was targeted in a late night shooting at the end of last week.
Police in Cyprus say that the office of a ‘foreign-owned investment company’ was targeted at around 1 am on Friday morning.
Seven rounds were fired at the office, which apparently had at least one employee inside. Images from the scene show that the company’s office door was fired at, with the rounds breaking through the glass on the door.
It is unclear which broker was targeted. Police say the perpetrator was dressed in all black and fled the scene on a motorcycle after carrying out the shooting.
The office was located in central Limassol on Agiou Andreou street, near to the Bioselect cosmetics shop.
This is the second shooting that seemingly targeted a broker in the last 12 months.
In the middle of last year, a firm’s office was also shot at in Limassol.
