UAE-based brokerage group Kama Capital has hired Dane Baker as its new Chief Commercial Officer.

Baker joins the company from Equiti Group, where he worked for almost six years. He joined Equiti as a Business Development Manager and moved up to become the brokerage group’s Senior Director for Europe.

Baker has also held sales roles at Global Market Index and iSAM Securities.

Kama Capital was launched in 2022 and has its main base of operations in Dubai.

The broker has entities and licenses in St Vincent and the Grenadines, Mauritius, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Like several other brokers, the company took a category 5 license in the UAE.

The broker has almost 100 employees today and has nearly doubled its headcount since 2023.

Aside from Baker, the company has hired Reno Mindemann – previously at ADSS – as its Head of Paid Media.

The broker also hired Elena Kupriianova as Chief Marketing Officer. Kupriianova previously held senior marketing roles at Exness, Capital.com, and CFI.
