Retail broker Eightcap has launched a new Italian language YouTube channel for clients.
The broker set up the account earlier this month and has since started posting market analysis videos in Italian.
Eightcap is running the channel alongside introducing broker and affiliate Giancarlo Prisco. Dubai-based Prisco makes the analyses and content, with Eightcap’s branding and trading platform being used in the videos.
Italy has emerged as one of the few ‘hot’ markets left in Europe.
TradeInformer understands that is partly because the regulator is more ‘relaxed’ and also because the market remains more untapped compared to other parts of Europe.
For example, one brand in the industry is opening over 1,000 accounts per month in the country at the moment.
Launching local language YouTube channels has become a common means by which to tap into this demand.
For example, Capital.com has used YouTube and TikTok channels, particularly in the Middle East, very successfully over the last five years or so.
The broker also launched an Italian language YouTube channel last year, which has now grown to a point that it typically gets over 500 views per video.
