Broker executive Mikhail Seliverstov has joined GTCFX as the company’s new Chief Commercial Officer.
He joins the company after spending over 13 years with rival brand Alpari. He initially joined the company as a Project Manager and went on to work in the company’s sales and business development team.
During his time with Alpari, he was promoted on several occasions and had stints as Head of Sales, Head of VIP Clients, and Head of Global Sales.
In 2021 he moved to the company’s Dubai office to work as SVP for Regional Development.
GTCFX was founded by CEO Jack Zheng a decade ago. The broker has licenses in Mauritius, Australia, and the UAE.
Like most other brokers, the company appears to have shifted away from so-called ‘tier-1’ markets over the last few years and is generating business more in Africa, MENA, and Asia.
Last month the company announced that it bought an entire tower block in Dubai. The company said it is the first broker to have bought a whole office building in the UAE.
