IC Markets, one of the world’s largest online brokers, is building an internal “AI Squad”, developing artificial intelligence across the firm’s infrastructure, operations, and client-facing systems.
The company is recruiting for several technical positions based in its Dubai and Cyprus offices. Open roles include AI Product Owners, LLM Engineers, Integration Engineers, Data Engineers, and an AI Agentic Architect.
The squad will work on technical infrastructure, operational workflows, and the client experience. IC Markets said it plans to integrate large language models and agentic AI architectures to deliver faster execution, higher system reliability, and more personalised tools.
Industry context
IC Markets is not alone in moving to AI-driven operations. Several other firms in the industry have either hired or are attempting to hire AI specialists.
Brokerage group Deriv has arguably been the most open about its embrace of the technology. According to a recent post by the firm, the broker has been able to reduce keyword research time by 70% and 10x its ability to create variable content by adopting AI solutions.
Other firms, like eToro, Trading 212, and Capital.com, have all announced AI-specific hires over the last couple of years.
