IG Group’s Head of Global Services announced on Tuesday that he is leaving the company after almost five years.
Tomasz Horacek joined the firm in 2020 as Head of IG Poland. IG’s office in Poland was originally for technology development bus gradually expanded into providing a range of services for the group as a whole.
Horacek was made Head of Global Service Centres in 2021, looking after not just the group’s Polish office, but also its teams in India and South Africa.
Both entities provide a number of different roles, although the Indian office is focused primarily on technology.
“Reflecting on this period, I feel an immense sense of pride in what we’ve built together— a truly global service services organization that spans across borders and brings together the best talent from Poland, India, South Africa, the UK, and beyond,” said Horacek in a post on LinkedIn.
“IG is a special place where I’ve experienced the true power of diversity working alongside people from different cultures, functions and backgrounds, learning from each other, and growing together.”
Horacek is one of several senior executives to have left IG Group in the last 12 months, among a big set of changes at the firm.
Long-time Chief Operating Officer Jon Noble and UK Head Matt Brief, among others, have left the London-listed broker in that time.
