IG hires Clifford Abrahams as CFO

UK-based brokerage firm IG Group announced on Wednesday that it has appointed Clifford Abrahams as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Abrahams joins the company from Virgin Money UK, where he had been CFO since 2021.

Abrahams has held other senior roles at ABN AMRO and Delta Lloyd Group. He has also had lengthy stints at investment bank Morgan Stanley and insurer Aviva.

“I am delighted to be joining IG at such an exciting time,” said Abrahams. “IG has a significant opportunity to take share in large, fragmented markets and I look forward to working with Breon and the team to accelerate the delivery of the growth strategy.”

Abrahams replaces outgoing CFO Charlie Rozes, who left IG Group in July. Rozes was also briefly interim CEO, following the departure of prior CEO June Felix in September 2023.
