IG US announced on Monday that it has rebranded to become tastyfx.
IG is one of the few brokers remaining in the CFD sector to still have a US entity offering leveraged FX, which is what IG US offered.
The rebrand is presumably due to the fact that tastytrade is a much bigger revenue generator for the company and also a way of bringing IG’s US product under one roof.
IG has also created a new website for the rebrand – tastyfx.com.
tastytrade is supposed to launch in the UK in the near future and clients will be able to access the broker’s existing platform.
Whether or not that will lead to a UK rebrand remains to be seen.
