Johnny Giacaman joins ATFX MENA

Brokerage executive Johnny Giacaman has joined the Dubai office of brokerage group ATFX as Chief Marketing Officer.

Giacaman joins the company from rival firm Naqdi, where he was Chief Marketing Officer. He was at the broker for just over a year.

Prior to this, Giacaman was Chief Marketing Officer at MultiBank for just over two years. During his time at MultiBank, Giacaman was responsible for reorienting the business away from its historical ties to the Chinese market.

ATFX MENA has been expanding rapidly over the past 18 months. The company has brought in several senior executives, including Hormoz Faryar from ADSS and Amer Zino, who was previously Head of MENA at Taurex.

This is part of a wider global expansion effort that has seen the firm acquire licenses and open offices in more than 20 regions, including Australia and South Africa.
