Brokerage executive Josh Fieldhouse has joined ThinkMarkets as its new Global Head of Partnerships.

Fieldhouse joins the firm from M4Markets, where he spent just over a year and where he was also Global Head of Partnerships.

The new ThinkMarkets executive has worked in the financial services industry for just over a decade, with roles at a commodity trading firm and currency broker Caxton.

He moved into the online trading industry in 2018 with a role at now defunct broker ETX Capital. Since then he has held senior sales roles at INFINOX and Trade Nation.

ThinkMarkets has undergone a couple of big changes over the last 18 months.

After an attempt to go public didn’t materialise, the firm has made a big push into the prop trading space, initially as a B2B provider and then via its own brand, ThinkCapital.

Like the majority of players in the sector, the firm has also shifted its main base of operations to Dubai and appears to be focusing much more on emerging markets, rather than places like the UK, Europe, and Australia.
