Brokerage executive Tal Dar has joined liquidity provider Alp Financial as Managing Director.
Dar joins the company from the UK arm of Vantage, where he spent almost four years as Head of eFX and Derivatives.
The new Alp Financial executive has worked in the online trading industry for over a decade.
He started out at FCA-regulated retail broker Spread Co and worked at the broker for almost five years, being promoted on several occasions.
After leaving Spread Co, Dar went on to work at several large brokers, including FIXI, Blackwell Global, and PhillipCapital.
Alp Financial is headed up by owner Chris Ling, who started the company in 2020.
The company’s UK entity generated $1.9m in revenue last year. The business was loss-making but it is common for firms to hedge exposure with another group entity for tax efficiency.
