Brokerage executive Nick Jay has joined TIOmarkets as its Chief Operating Officer.

Jay has been in the trading industry for over 15 years.

He held a senior sales role at IronFX and was also Head of Partnerships for almost five years at broker HF Markets, when it was still called HotForex.

More recently, he was Chief Business Development Officer at M4Markets for almost three years and XtremeMarkets for just under a year.

TIOMarkets is controlled by Malaysian businessman Manmohan Singh.

The company has regulatory approvals in Cyprus, the UK, and an offshore entity in St Vincent and the Grenadines.

The broker appears to primarily be targeting Asia and Latin America at the moment, although it does also get web traffic from the UK and a few European Union countries.
