The Chief Executive Officer of Plus500’s UK entity has sold just over £603,000-worth of shares in the London-listed company.
A disclosure on the London Stock Exchange shows that Mark Winton, who has been with the broker for over a decade, made the sale last Friday.
According to the disclosure, Winton sold 18,600 shares in the company at a per share price of £32.42. That would mean a total sale price of £603,012.
Shares in Plus500 have continued to perform extremely well over the last few years. On a total return basis, the company is up 271.9% in the last five years. That compares to 109.6% in the S&P 500.
Last month Plus500 saw significant investment from US asset management firm Capital Group. The company took a 5.2% stake in the Israeli broker.
