Samer Alkhaldi leaves Tickmill

Long-time retail broker executive Samer Alkhaldi has left his role at brokerage group Tickmill. He is yet to announce his future plans.

Alkhaldi was the first person to join the Tickmill Arabic team almost a decade ago and was responsible for driving the company’s initial growth in the Middle East and North Africa.

During his initial phase at the company, Alkhaldi was responsible for almost the entire business operations of the Arabic department. That included sales, translation work, working with partners, and marketing.

Since joining, the Tickmill Arabic team has grown substantially and the group now as an active office in the United Arab Emirates as well.

Alkhaldi is the second senior figure at Tickmill to leave over the last couple of months. In July, the company’s Chief Business Development Officer Carla Nemr also announced that she had left the company.

“I want to thank all the people who stood and walked the journey by my side,” said Alkhaldi in a video published on LinkedIn. “Our partners across MENA, strategic partners, introducing brokers, traders, clients, and the entire and Arabic and global teams.”
