New broker Sky Links Capital has received approval for a Category 5 license from the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
A Category 5 license allows firms to act as an introducer in the UAE. It has been a popular option for brokers, with several brands, like Taurex and ATFX, both acquiring one.
Sky Links Capital has entities in the UAE, Mauritius, and St Vincent and the Grenadines. The company has a license from the Financial Services Commission in Mauritius.
The broker offers CFDs, as well as futures contracts. The company was launched last year and set up by Daniel Takieddine, a long time industry executive.
Takieddine has been in the industry for over a decade and has held roles at companies like Amana, ADSS, and FXPRIMUS. Prior to launching Sky Links he was MENA CEO of BDSwiss.
“It is with great pride and enthusiasm that I announce a significant milestone in the journey of Sky Links Capital,” said Takieddine. “We have successfully acquired the prestigious Securities and Commodities Authority United Arab Emirates license, further solidifying our commitment to excellence, transparency, and innovation in the financial markets.”
